Hello, I am Brittany.

I am a systematic yet imaginative therapist. I have a passion for the creative process. When I’m not trying out a different art material, or talking myself into buying yet another book, I use my multiple whiteboards to help navigate life. My partner and cat companions, often bear with me as I paint on the walls of our cottage. What can I say, I love to be surrounded by art.

My Story

Unknowingly growing up as a neurodivergent kid in a small Montana town, I learned to mask my way through life. I often felt like hiding in plain sight was the easier option. Moving to the Pacific Northwest to procure my education in Art Therapy, I learned to embrace my sensory sensitivities as strengths. I created an art process to help support my shifting identities, and build self-acceptance. I’m a big believer in the power of creative rituals in our daily lives.
I’ve worked with several populations, ranging from children to adults. I have primarily worked with folks that have experienced trauma, are neurodivergent, struggling with depression, anxiety, or intimate partner violence. I love helping to facilitate healing through co-creating a therapeutic art process with you, to support your story, sensory sensitivities, and goals. We all have unique perceptions, narratives, and approaches that can come to life through the creative process.

I like to pull from several therapeutic modalities to support the needs of my clients. Ranging
from narrative therapy, eco-psychology, and gestalt play therapy, with the framework of
expressive therapies continuum. The art we create is a unique form of self-expression. I want
you to walk away from our time together empowered to create, heal, and connect. I look forward
to witnessing your art and process.
